Currently working in the medical device sector as VP Product Solutions at NordicNeuroLab in Bergen Norway. This position is primarily focused in maintaining and developing the aftermarket section of the business. Previous experience prior to NNL was related to quality assurance testing with a main focus in the telecommunications arena but also with a large array of industrial and consumer electronic devices. - Managing the Product Solutions Team in their daily tasks. - Developing and maintaining the SalesForce CRM system as an admin with specific focus on improving service delivery for the Sales and Product Solutions Teams - Handling and managing the installation and product training for fMRI hardware and software with a main focus on the EU and surrounding territories - Aiding NNLs distributors in Sales and issues - Many other adhoc tasks involved with a small company
- Managed the regulatory requirements process (for products within both the Ceragon and Nera brand) for global approvals - Developed the company’s in-house test benches to a Notified Body level of approval, enabling type approval work to actually, and for the first time, be done at our premises in Bergen. This saved the company a substantial amount of money, as these services no longer had to be bought externally and abroad. - Provided technical documentation for the products based on R&TTE Directive requirements, including a technical analysis of the safe distances (MPE) for the public and occupational workers around the equipment. - Managed measurement services for the hardware and software departments, which directly aided in development and debugging of new software features and new hardware. This included some .net-development.
Pioneered a new role to liaise between Sales and the Operations (engineering) departments. I provided detailed technical knowledge directly to both the Account Managers, as well as to the clients, regarding their tenders and projects. This was a high pressure role, working with many different departments to aid in quick turnaround of projects dealing, and dealt with simple to cutting edge technology products.
Undertook complex compliance testing, gaining advanced skills and knowledge in regards to regulations for North America (FCC), as well as European (ETSI) related specifications. Spent 12 months running a WiMAX validation project. The project was based in Spain, and I worked with multiple manufactures, whilst managing the microwave test laboratory. I also trained other engineers in the procedures and methodology for microwave testing.
