Elected by the Ted Rogers School of Management student body to represent their best interest within the RSU. Duties include: • Attending monthly board meetings to have open dialogue regarding the improvement of student life, advocacy, and equity services on campus • Participating and leading discussions with the Finance Committee about financial policies and budgetary expenses • Analyzing and advising operations of the RSU to strengthen internal controls • Forecasting and establishing a five year business plan by reviewing strengths and areas of improvement to better serve students
Oversee the operations of indoor, outdoor, and wading pools, assisting with public relations concerns, and mentoring staff through active coaching and approachability. My objective is to facilitate the development of staff and programs to ensure a safe aquatic environment, while having some fun along the way.
Instructing and supervising aquatic programs for a varied age group of participants, implementing a safe aquatic environment for up to 350 patrons. Duties include: • Working with teams of 3-18 staff members to respond to emergencies efficiently and provide first aid care, while addressing public relations concerns for any major or minor situation • Completing lesson plans, test sheets, and progress reports to plan effectively, monitor progress and create open communication between students and staff • Developing worksheets for leadership courses that were communicated via email to enhance class material and success of students, resulting in success rates greater than 90% • Facilitating staff training to improve skills, build effective teams, and communicate information effectively
