Jamie is Director of Global Economics at Bloomberg, where he oversees global modelling, country risk, trade and climate change research. He previously spent a decade as Chief European Economist and has worked at the UK Office for Budget Responsibility, the New Zealand Treasury and HM Treasury. He is co-author of 'The Price of Money' a book about the past, present and future of the natural rate of interest with Oxford University Press, and makes regular appearances in print, online and on television. Jamie is also a Visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield, where he received his PhD, and has published papers on fiscal policy, measuring slack and the determination of interest rates.
