-Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students -Develop and implement individualized treatment plans -Provide speech therapy to students with communication challenges -Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' progress
-Evaluate and treat children ages 0-18 with Apraxia and other motor speech disorders, articulation disorders, autism spectrum disorder, delayed speech or "late talkers," genetic syndromes such as Down Syndrome, phonological disorders, social pragmatic communication disorders, oral-motor feeding disorders and executive functioning skills. -Co-treat/collaborate with other pediatric occupational therapists, physical therapists and board-certified behavioral therapists. -Complete accurate documentation of session and clinical status. -Provide parental education for carryover in the home setting and conduct review sessions with parents.
