Conducted research on variational inference techniques for Bayesian analysis of ODE-based dynamical systems under the supervision of Professor S. C. Samuel Kou in the Department of Statistics. Developed Mitotic Stein Variational Gradient Descent as part of my undergraduate thesis, which was awarded a 2025 Thomas Temple Hoopes Prize for outstanding scholarly work.
May - August, 2022 May - August, 2023 Helped to plan and begin implementation of database migration to Amazon RDS. Used Python to clean and format data in preparation for migration. Drafted database usage documentation. Wrote Python code to efficiently and ethically scrape RNA-Seq metadata.
