Essential Duties Include Sourcing cost-effective, on-time domestic and international delivery with high-quality suppliers; ensuring on-time component deliveries; and maintaining on-time shipments of company equipment shipments to customers. Manage and lead a growing Procurement/Logistics department. Be a key member of the management team by supporting career development of team members, and support company’s growth objectives. Responsible for reviewing logistic and procurement document requirements, bank letters of credit, and blanked agreements. Manage relationships with freight forwarders, third party logistics providers, etc. Other duties to manage the procurement and logistics process as needed.
Directly supervises the Logistics, Distribution, and Fulfillment Operations including performance management, performance improvement, performance leadership Manage relationships with contract warehouses as the main point of contact, and oversee all areas of their operation Review performance with warehouses, develop and manage action plans for improvement areas Act as an operational intermediary/coordinate between internal departments (IT, Sales & Customer Service) Providing special instructions to the warehouses, handling one-off situations Review and validate contract warehouse’s monthly bills, and approve Adhoc charges Work closely with Customer Service and the Office of the President to identify, research troubleshoot and log warehouse errors Manage on-site quality assurance at distribution warehouse locations to assure ongoing compliance with quality and industry regulatory requirements onsite audit Communicate fulfillment issues with our contract warehouses and work with them to provide root cause analysis Provide monthly volume forecast to warehouses, and monitor forward Develop and monitor operational metrics for the warehouses, and work with them to report accurate Scorecard Warehouse Subject matter Expert for onboarding large-scale customers and any IT projects, helping to understand fulfillment requirements Review warehouse vendor contracts and provide operational support to negotiations Provide process improvements recommendations for other departments (ie Inventory/Production lines/ Wholesale accounts) Coordinate and provide support to annual physical inventory activities between all departments and provide a schedule Work in conjunction with the Freight Manager to ensure smooth customer order processing Provide daily support to Sales and Customer Service (by extension external customers) as well as Senior Management in ensuring DC operations are delivering on their SLA’s cost and supporting the business needs of KFI
