I am the U13s head coach at the club
After working at Windridge for 2 summers and getting a promotion after my first summer I was again promoted this time to soccer director. This role means I will work and help manage 8 soccer counsellors ensuring that they are all confident and have been trained to produce good sessions throughout the summer. We will have over 100 players down at soccer everyday so ensuring everything is well organised and staff know what is expected of them will help to create a great programme. I have had to set up for the summer including getting the pitch ready with choosing the dimensions and then lining the field myself. We have an 11 a side, 9 a side, 7 a side, and 5 a side pitches at camp to cater for all age groups. We have a range of players coming to camp from players who have never kicked a ball before to players who play in top European academies. I also have to work within a budget for bringing in new equipment and trips to play friendlies against teams away from our facilities.
