Business & Systems Optimization Analysis & Projects
As Director Business Operations, I brought trusted, evidence-based strategic vision to the executive team at Pan Global. Initiatives resulted in elimination of significant debt, moving from loss of 20% of revenue per year to profit of 20% of revenue per year, and 200% growth (users and revenue) of new products. I was continually focused on new initiatives to drive the Product Development, Project Management Office, Service Delivery, Business Development, and Marketing teams. I built new product lines, developed departments from scratch, and oversaw implementation of dozens of new initiatives, tools, and solutions. This amazing experience culminated sadly in the company shutting down due to non-financial reasons.
I oversaw all product development and project management the company including initiating a small scale PMO. I reported to the COO, had 8 direct reports, and oversaw project implementation across IT, Marketing, Product Dev, HR, Finance, and Logistics. I oversaw service delivery / implementation for all company services (training programs, individual courses, custom product dev) and built processes and automation to enable smooth service delivery.
I was recruited by the COO to manage a team of 16 and get a handle on a failing 3 year project. I redesigned tracking, processes, and aligned workflows to decrease project spend, and optimize team output.
At TELUS I was co-Leading the “Forced Copper to Fibre Migrations” project to move residential customers across Alberta and British Columbia from copper based services to fibre based services. I aligned several processes, improved our tracking tool toward automation, helped build forecasting model for performance tracking and reporting, and oversaw directed marketing to stimulate demand, communications design, etc
I oversaw implementation of various fibre and coax based solutions for Shaw Business clientele. Quickly promoted from project coordinator to PM, managing our largest revenue account (Rogers Communications), & highest potential growth account (AT&T). I managed 20+ internal and external stakeholders daily, and improved service delivery metrics 5-10% year over year for 4 years for main clients. I represented Service Delivery department in annual delivery statistics presentation. Between 2018-2020, I was recruited by Director Shaw Business to manage all fibre, wifi and TV connections for Shaw Communications sponsored PGA Tour event.
