    • Utilized Autodesk Inventor to recreate a simplified model of the drive system for mining trucks produced at the plant that includes key components assembled at each major station of the assembly line • Fused deposition modeling is used to produce a 3D representation of the drive system model designed in Inventor and converted into lines of commands that operates the printer • Measured and obtained dimensions of the plant layout and various machinery to accurately scale down the plant to an interactive size to build • Created a 3D mock-up representation of the manufacturing plant for the lean team to perform simulations • Learned about lean manufacturing principals through working with team members, and assisted in creating a training exercise to demonstrate and eliminate waste from a simulated production line to other engineers
