The Commercial Real Estate Workshop is a case-based program where members create and present deals to a panel of judges. The Workshop provides members with insight and real-world experience for a career in commercial real estate upon graduation. - Faculty-selected to participate in exclusive program focused on preparing students for careers in commercial real estate. - Trained in high-level real estate financial modeling, alternative operating models, market analysis, and real estate fundamentals.
- Analyzed financial models, legal documents, and utilized Microsoft Excel to provide solutions - Gained experience using income, sales comparison, and cost approach methods to assist in providing professional valuations - Utilized the company’s national database to analyze and compare property values - Gathered and verified property data from various sources, including MLS, public records, and proprietary databases - Assisted in conducting detailed property inspections to assess condition and values - Provided coverage for appraisers across five states in the Southeast (AL, GA, NC, SC, VA)
