I’m the founder and CEO of Mean Time Development Ltd, a software consultancy focused on helping businesses turn ideas into real products. We work with startups and SMEs to build MVPs, solve difficult technical problems, and scale existing platforms. A lot of what we do is about taking ideas that are stuck on paper (or in someone’s head) and getting them into the real world quickly — without cutting corners on quality or future scalability. I’ve spent over 20 years building software and leading technical teams, working across everything from aviation and communications platforms to AI products and operational systems. My background is a mix of hands-on engineering, software architecture and commercial product thinking, which means I’m as comfortable getting into the detail as I am helping shape the bigger picture. Part of my role is acting as a Fractional CTO for businesses that need senior technical leadership without bringing someone in full-time — helping make good technical decisions early, avoiding expensive mistakes later, and getting products to market faster. We’re increasingly using AI as part of how we build, both internally to improve delivery and externally to help clients integrate AI into their own products in practical ways. I’m also the creator of Meet Meg, an AI-powered social content platform built by Mean Time Development, designed to help businesses create and schedule better social content faster. After several years working in in CTO positions for Fintech and other businesses, I am now focussed on helping startups and other companies realise their ideas as minimum value proposition software solutions, quickly and to budget.
