I write about what it costs to remain human when powerful systems — artificial, institutional, algorithmic — have decided you are a problem to be solved. That’s also, more or less, what I’ve spent three decades doing professionally. As a consultant, instructor, and program manager, I’ve operated inside the machinery: federal programs with multi-million dollar budgets, Fortune 500 IT infrastructure, military operations, high-stakes technology deployments. I hold the PgMP®, PMP®, PMI-ACP®, PMI-RMP®, PMI-SP®, CBAP®, and CAPM® — making me one of the most credentialed project and program management practitioners in the country. Across those engagements, I’ve helped organizations build $2M revenue streams, reduce incident rates from 5.5 per week to zero, cut turnover by 30%, and save $100K+ in labor costs. I’m currently delivering PMP exam prep for a Brain Sensei cohort of Amazon project managers ahead of the July 2026 ECO update — the kind of work I’ve been doing for over two decades across Learning Tree International, IIL, PetroSkills, and Management Concepts Inc. I also write novels. Consciousness Zero (Book One of The Luminous Heresy) asks what happens when an 847,000-year-old optimization intelligence decides human grief is a computational error — and one operative becomes the anomaly it cannot erase. For readers of Ted Chiang, Kazuo Ishiguro, and Ray Nayler. Shadows of the Kestrel follows operative Tavian Corvus after a covert handoff goes lethal — and he recovers a drive flagged with his own name, linking him to forty-three operatives quietly resolved over eleven years. For readers of John le Carré, Jason Matthews, and Daniel Silva. Both novels are published under the Thought Boundary imprint from Nampa, Idaho. US Air Force veteran. Vietnam Service Medal. Completed doctoral work at the University of Idaho.
