James supported the connectivity engineering team where he worked to modernize connectivity, move applications to cloud, secure connectivity, and define networking strategy. He created new cloud-native connectivity standards resulting in a 10x reduction in network latency, while reducing cost by 90%. He also worked to refine the capacity planning process to include several hundred critical networking devices as well as using historical data to refine the process.
James worked with strategic customers to help them fully realize the value and potential of their relationship with AWS. He ensured infrastructure becomes an enabler, and not inhibiter, of business growth by applying technical expertise to solve problems. He worked across large-scale database migrations, cloud networking, Generative AI co-innovation, and inferentia and tranium accelerated computing.
James provided consulting services around cloud, computing, networking, storage, and infrastructure.
James led product management for Aviatrix and worked closely with field sellers, customers, and engineering to ensure the platform met current and future customer needs. He helped launch several new and innovative product features and deepened the AWS partner relationship to include multiple joint announcements at Re:Invent 2021.
James served as a Principal solutions architect working directly with clients on large and complex cloud architectures. He also produced content to enable both the field sellers and the clients. James also worked closely with AWS to grow the partnership and bring new ideas for joint collaboration to grow the business.
