About

Having led, grown, and exited two of Australia’s most iconic food and beverage brands, my experience spans resourcing, scaling, investing, exiting and advising within the Food & Beverage industry and beyond. Today, along with being a proud father of four young girls, I am greatly enjoying leading the Darrell Lea / Rite Bite Group business. The Darrell Lea business means so much to Australians, it feels special to be a part of it. I am also an early stage investor and Chairman of the My Muscle Chef business. My journey so far..... At nudie Juice, I was the first employee, leading the sales and marketing function for the first six years before taking on the CEO role. In my six years as CEO, thanks to the efforts of the incredible team, nudie Juice grew from 3% market share to more than 30% and achieved the number one position in chilled juice in Australia. In January 2015 we sold the business to the Filipino food group, Monde Nissin. After taking a short sabbatical, Pacific Equity Partners brought me on to be the CEO of Pinnacle Bakery, a +100yr old bakery business supplying all major food manufacturers and retailers throughout Australasia. Within a year we acquired Allied Mills, and formed Allied Pinnacle with a turnover of circa $1bn+ per annum. As the CEO of Allied Pinnacle I was responsible for overseeing 2,500 staff across 7 iconic flour mills, 6 manufacturing plants, 9 distribution centres and a head office. I am extremely proud of what we were able to achieve in my 4.5 years of Allied Pinnacle. Through the efforts of an incredible team we were able to double profits, divest non-core assets, and significantly improve quality and capability whilst greatly improving our safety record. In 2019 we successfully sold Allied Pinnacle to the Nishin Seifun Group. I have been extremely lucky along my career, to have had a number of great people around me, assisting me along the way. This has encouraged me to now mentor a number of senior executives across a range of industries, which I thoroughly enjoy. I am most passionate about enabling businesses and people to achieve their potential.
