Ir. Dr. James Wing Ho Wong is a Chartered Engineer in the United Kingdom (1988) and a Registered Professional Engineer in Hong Kong (1992). He founded Allied Environmental Consultants Ltd. (1994) and was also a Founding Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Environmental Impact Assessment and the Hong Kong Institute of Acoustic (1993) and Founding President of the Hong Kong Institute of Energy (2009). His Allied (Environmental) Group provides design and consultancy services in construction of sustainable buildings, highways, train stations and airports, supervises the development and construction of large-scale infrastructure projects, private and public housing, and research studies in various aspects of the development of environmentally friendly housing. Responsibilities include project management, planning, design and contract management, as well as development of procurement, design, construction, quality, performance evaluation, dispute resolution, R&D, safety and environmental operations policies.
