- Reporting directly to the UK Country Head and core member of the UK Leadership Team (LT) - Leading 3 functions across Consumer & Market Insights, Strategy & Business Management - Setting overall biz strategic direction, influencing and working with stakeholders at all levels - Developing & delivering strategic updates on behalf of the LT to the SEUK business - Responsible for multi-million £ research budget, delivering actionable consumer insight to inform decision making - Leading partnerships and relationships with external agencies and consultancies - LT sponsor of strategic cross functional taskforces to drive best practice and business change & results - Commercial and strategic mentorship of key sales and marketing professionals across the business Leading joint business planning strategy and implementation with core UK partners - Building channel sales strategy and target setting across all product categories - Developing sell-in materials and strategies for product GTM and promotions
- During the restructure post Microsoft purchase of Nokia, taken in-house acting as Head of Sales Operations. - Key member of the Microsoft Mobile UK strategic business planning alongside the UK commercial leadership team, with exposure to Microsoft UK board meetings. - Active participant of the executive level sales and marketing weekly review, personally taking ownership of sell-out and inventory forecasting. - Due to significant headcount impacts, also acted as Account Manager for the O2 and H3G accounts.
- Responsible for 9 analysts working across sales and marketing functions within Microsoft. - Responsible for data consolidation and developing visualization tools, using a variety of tools and methods (including SQL, Tableu, Salesforce & MS Office Suite) - Significant experience in writing SQL scripts and data management during this time.
