Worked as a Quantity Surveyor on the A63 Castle Street Improvement Scheme as part of a focused commercial team dedicated to margin recovery. I acted as the principal commercial contact for Balfour Beatty in managing a historically challenging subcontractor, whose package carried a significant risk of adjudication at the point I assumed responsibility. I consistently produced accurate, evidence‑based commercial documentation to support claims, change management, and dispute resolution. The role required regular coordination with engineers, commercial managers, specialist consultants, and subcontractor representatives to address technical issues, mitigate delay risks, maintain cost control, and ensure robust contractual compliance.
Worked as a Graduate Quantity Surveyor for Balfour Beatty on the National Emergency Area Retrofit (NEAR) South scheme as part of the SMP alliance. By March 2025 we will safely constructed 50 Emergency Areas across the M25, M20, M3 and M4.
