- Providing routine psychological practices and services within an inpatient Learning disability environment - Undertaking 1:1 individual psychological work with patients - Facilitating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy & Dialectical Behaviour Therapy treatment groups in an inpatient environment
Medium-Low secure Learning Disabilities Psychiatric Hospital • Assisting in the day-to-day healthcare of service users in a secure inpatient mental health environment • Working 1:1 with clients building meaningful therapeutic relationships as part of their treatment • Writing clinical reports, documenting patients challenging behaviours and/or any Safeguarding concerns • Writing patients care notes on the trusts’ computer databases • Liaising with Nurses, Occupational Therapists, GPs, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Social Workers and other healthcare professionals
