For 41 years I practiced labor and employment law; before that I worked in Labor Relations, now Human Resources, for Inland Steel Company. I continue to have great interest in the myriad human resource, labor relations and employment discrimination workforce issues which abound in the 21st century. Pursuant to these interests, having played the requisite rounds of golf and stuffing envelopes as a volunteer, I wish to develop a part-time consulting practice which will utilize my more than 49 year experience and expertise in these, as well as other, disciplines, e.g. Develop and assist in the execution of reduction in force programs; Advise regarding employee discipline/termination/grievance issues; Design employee/personnel handbooks, rules and regulations; Negotiate labor contracts; litigate arbitration cases; Consult in the settlement of employment discrimination/harassment complaints. Today, networking is an essential ingredient to starting and maintaining a new venture. Therefore, I need your help! Please keep the foregoing elaboration in mind if the occasion presents itself anywhere in the U.S. particularly with friends or acquaintances either now or previously in the human resources profession.
