Leading the application of Renishaw's products into the CNC Machine Tool Market: Overseeing the Product Marketing and Marketing Communications functions of the Machine Tool Products division. Leading the Software development functions (CNC User Interfaces, CNC Macro Software, Smartphone Apps).
A role supporting the Industrial Metrology sector in the Asia-Pacific region, covering: • Greater China, South Korea, Taiwan and ASEAN nations • Particular focus on Machine Tool builders and key End Users
• Manager of department responsible for all CNC (macro) software creation and maintenance globally. 240 software packages covering all major CNC manufactures, including work piece inspection, tool setting (contact and laser) and tool recognition. Additionally turn-key and custom application support • Responsible for business development for software products into key Machine Tool Builders particularly in Japan, Korea, Germany and USA. Including new market / segment development such as use of probing for Machine Calibration • Legal and compliance including: Export Control Officer with responsibility within the Machine Tool Products Division for new product rating and compliance with UK Strategic Export Control lists Divisional Safety Manager with shared responsibility for Health and Safety matters within the Machine Tool Product Division Support of Patents and Legal agreement teams
