I am a queer Ngarrindjeri man living on Noongar Country in Boorloo/Perth. My work focusses on raising the profile of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and LGBTQA+ young people in psychology through conducting research, inclusive practice, and supporting the education of future psychologists.
I assist Indigenous students to meet their academic goals through individual and group tutoring under the Indigenous Tutorial Assistance Scheme (ITAS). I'm responsible for supporting their understanding of course content and the practical knowledge required to complete assignments. This includes personalising content to optimise their learning, yarning about personal issues that are affecting them, and problem solving difficulties to help them succeed.
