I am a Quality Engineer with over seven years of experience in the aerospace and defense industry, including more than three years in quality engineering. My professional background combines hands-on technical expertise in electronic systems with experience in quality assurance, regulatory compliance, root cause analysis, and continuous process improvement. Currently, I serve as a Quality Engineer at Collins Aerospace, where I support Quality Management System (QMS) compliance, investigate product nonconformances, review and approve First Article Inspections (FAIs), and collaborate with manufacturing, design engineering, and operations teams to identify and resolve complex quality-related issues. I also hold Material Review Board (MRB) certification, with responsibility for evaluating and determining appropriate dispositions of nonconforming material. Before transitioning into quality engineering, I developed a strong technical foundation through troubleshooting, repairing, and inspecting aerospace electronic systems, including air data computers, pressure sensor units, and electronic components. Combined with my military service in the United States Navy, this experience has strengthened my analytical thinking, technical problem-solving abilities, and commitment to operational excellence. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a concentration in Cybersecurity and an Associate of Science in Computer and Electronics Engineering. I have also successfully completed Purdue University’s Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification program, further strengthening my expertise in process improvement, statistical analysis, root cause analysis, and data-driven decision-making. My professional approach emphasizes practical solutions, cross-functional collaboration, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. I believe effective quality management extends beyond meeting regulatory and customer requirements. It involves strengthening processes, preventing recurring issues, improving operational efficiency, and fostering accountability to ensure long-term organizational success.
