About

I am an energetic and innovative Systems Engineer with over 8 years of industry experience designing and testing fiber optic gyros (FOGs), IMUs, and inertial navigation products. I have worked closely with major aerospace and defense customers as the Engineering team’s technical representative, including for a Program of Record for the United States Navy. I formulate and design systems, solutions, & algorithms using scientific analysis and mathematical models to predict outcomes and measure effects across the entire product life cycle. I enjoy tackling complex problems collaboratively & independently and thrive in a community-centered work environment.

  • Tutor at Roosevelt International Academy
    Mar 2016 - Dec 2016 · 10 mos

I tutored high school students from Roosevelt International Academy, primarily in maths and science. All of my students were international, studying topics in a second language.

  • Tutor - Undergraduate Engineering Science at University College, Oxford
    Jan 2009 - Oct 2012 · 3 yrs 10 mos

I worked as a tutor and teaching assistant for undergraduate Engineering Science. This involved marking and then going over student work sheets, marking internal exams, and teaching an introductory "Maths week" revision course for first years. Topics taught include the following: Ordinary and Partial Differential Equations, Dynamics and Kinematics, the Second Law and its Applications, Fluid Mechanics, Thermodynamic Machines, Statistics and Probability, and Mechanics of Materials.
