I've started on the Aurora grad scheme as an energy analyst in Oxford. I've enjoyed internships in engineering firms working at the cutting edge of technology, from laser micro machining with OpTek to pioneering additive manufacturing with Alloyed. I've also worked on delivering huge projects, working a systems engineering position at BAE systems.
I performed R&D work on surface finishing techniques using mechanical and chemical methods, presenting the results and producing a report. I also developed and optimised a manufacturing process, writing G-code programs and optimising the laser parameters.
I worked on CATICA V5 to design an autonomously replaceable camera mount for the European Spallation Source.
