Service Delivery Manager – Managing IT services within an international environment and delivering business applications and infrastructure services to 144,000 staff with on/off shore teams and suppliers. Ensured that the pre-requisites for initiating the project, change and or service(s) are in place, stage boundaries and expectations are set and the teams needed are established. Managed internal staff and vendors to carry out services and changes costing between €10 thousand – €2 million. Monitored and oversaw the progress of tasks within projects resulting in a 5% increase of vendor service completion within SLA. Delivered large platforms to the business including a 300 server SAP infrastructure and a 3Par storage system. Focused on improving services and performances while maintaining current business operations. Weekly meetings with vendors and teams as well as the CAB to assure services are within business quality, time, cost and scope, provide justifiable end benefits and have the minimum effect on business operations. As an engineer for a global IT infrastructure comprising of 1400 Windows servers, 40% of which were virtual; I was responsible for successfully carrying out changes and resolving incidents from assessment to implementation, working by ITIL principles. This entailed: Managing physical and virtual server builds, decommissions, upgrades and refreshes. Design and development of Active Directory schemes and User Group Policies. Storage, Citrix, Exchange, SQL, backup, IIS, DNS, DHCP and DFS administration. Working with vendors to build in-house applications from first build to ongoing changes. Storage Server administration and data organization projects (25 LUNs / 7000 users). Configuration of Exchange 2003 infrastructure. SQL Architect Database and user management, including disaster recovery. Backup administration (VERITAS).

Providing regular progress reports with internal senior staff. Creating and managing change requests from acceptance to implementation within an ITIL environment.
