Emergency management professional and U.S. Coast Guard veteran dedicated to strengthening community resilience through preparedness, planning, and coordinated response operations. My professional foundation was built through more than a decade of operational leadership in maritime law enforcement, search and rescue, and homeland security missions requiring decisive leadership, risk management, and interagency coordination. Transitioning into local government emergency management allowed me to apply that operational background to preparedness planning, Emergency Operations Center readiness, and community-focused resilience initiatives. Currently supporting municipal emergency management operations with the City of Temecula Office of Emergency Management, I contribute to evacuation planning, EOC coordination, logistics management, public preparedness outreach, and all-hazards planning. I hold a Master of Science in Business Management and combine strategic leadership training with hands-on emergency management experience. My approach focuses on translating complex risk environments into practical solutions that improve readiness before disasters occur and enhance coordinated response during incidents.
Support municipal emergency management programs focused on preparedness, response readiness, and community resilience. Emergency Management Operations • Support development and implementation of citywide emergency management programs aligned with SEMS/NIMS/ICS frameworks • Assist with evacuation planning across 75 operational evacuation zones, including ingress/egress analysis and protective action coordination • Maintain Emergency Operations Center readiness, including organizational systems, documentation, and operational resource management • Support EOC activations, exercises, and training events, ensuring situational awareness and staff accountability • Manage emergency response inventories, CERT equipment, logistics caches, and deployment readiness resources • Develop Essential Elements of Information (EEIs) supporting all-hazards situational awareness • Coordinate planning efforts with fire, law enforcement, schools, public works, and regional partners • Support public alerting, evacuation coordination, and preparedness initiatives Community Preparedness • Develop preparedness outreach materials and public education initiatives • Support CERT and Citizen Corps programs promoting whole-community resilience Impact: Strengthened evacuation planning capability and enhanced EOC operational readiness for a rapidly growing Southern California jurisdiction.
