Since 2004 I have worked in various teaching capacities within HE and for two years served as Course Coordinator for the BA Film degree at Hereford College of Arts. Alongside my work in Higher Education , I also write. My new book project is entitled Through Her Lens: The Stories Behind the Photography of Eva Sereny. It will be published in August 2018. I also write extensively as a film literacy specialist working for UK and US-based educational resource publishers.
I work as a writer, trading as ClarkeCreative and my work typically splits between film and visual effects journalism and educational writing, typically with a Film Studies focus, and also screenwriting. My writing has been published in a range of bestselling magazine titles, including Empire, Sci Fi Now and 3D World.
