In this fixed term position I played a key role in shaping the business development function. I established all core processes and policies to ensure sustainable growth and operational efficiency. I was responsible for managing all tenders throughout the full bid process, ensuring compliance and maximising success rates. As part of the senior leadership team, I also jointly led the mobilisation of the new site at Miskin Manor, overseeing planning, coordination, and successful launch activities with senior colleagues.
ERSA champions and supports the sector, in all its breadth and diversity. We work closely with commissioners and funders, at all levels, on issues around programme design and management. We all care passionately about the employment support sector. We also know that we can do more collectively as a sector to help improve standards of delivery across the piece and to make the case to government and other funders for investment in services. We work hard to influence the wider policy agenda as it affects jobseekers. Our specialisms include disability and health, housing and homelessness, offender related services, youth employment and welfare reform, amongst other areas.
Responsibility for developing the strategic planning and end-to-end customer journey and operating model solution design for high value/strategically important bidding opportunities, working closely with the Bid Team, Operations and Finance to create winning propositions. Line management responsibility for Strategy & Solutions and Bid Partnerships teams, as well as working with Operations to develop robust market sector propositions.
