Lead the planning and execution in the deployment, installation, and configuration of network security tools across the Air Force Medical Service (AFMS) Enclave. Using requirements set forth in Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) and NIST publications provide recommendations on using the tools to monitor the enclave as to ensure file and system integrity is maintained. Develop procedures and process documents to be used Navy wide in the configuration of the security tools in future systems. Provide technical and analytical support to the SPAWAR Information Assurance division throughout the legacy DIACAP and new RMF Certification and Accreditation processes by creating, reviewing, and editing already existing and new Certification and Accreditation packages. Provide further support on issues as requested by the SPAWAR.

Lead program integration and operations with Information Assurance for Commander Operational Test and Evaluation Force assimilating the work of Information Technology Analysts, Network Engineers, Financial Analysts, and Information Security (INFOSEC) personnel into one cohesive framework. Directly contribute in the development and revision of policies and procedures that positively impacted and enforced security requirements for all Navy IT programs. Provide vulnerability remediation assessments in direct support to the CyberSecurity program throughout the DoD IA Certification and Accreditation program (DIACAP), maintain all platform IT (PIT) accreditation requirements for IT and Telecommunications systems.
As Network Technician, managed the team workload while assigning network continuity responsibilities of the team. Routinely requested as primary on technical support, created computer images, established and maintained file directory access control lists, created and managed Active Directory accounts and Exchange accounts, maintained Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity backups of infrastructure. Assisted the Enterprise Network Administrator in the creation and revision of Standard Operating Procedures and policies that resulted in increased productivity among other technicians.
