Over 20 years experience in media, communications, campaigning and public affairs at both a practical and strategic level. I’ve managed communications teams and large budgets; had responsibility for creating and delivering communications strategies; delivered national campaigns and devised and led on public affairs strategies. A strong background in press and media work both at local and national levels, including press handling, both reactive and pro-active. A key part of my work has been running campaigns and awareness raising projects as well as conferences; this includes co-ordinating teams brought together to deliver fixed term projects and engaging with partners and senior political figures. I have extensive public speaking experience as well as skills in speech writing and training. I've strong experience in event planning and management and as well as in political lobbying, liaison and public affairs work. I’ve liaised and worked with senior politicians and journalists. Proficient in online and digital communications; managing digital projects and web development.
