I write about the indirect IT and telecom sales and services market for the Channel Dive website. I aim to share the stories and perspectives that the big vendors and generic press releases won't tell you, with a special emphasis on contextualizing partner impact. The technology advisor/technology services distributor market is very near and dear to my heart, and I also cover managed service providers, value added resellers and everything in between. Drop me a line if you have a juicy scoop or just want to talk trends! I'm much more interested in hearing your observations than hearing your pitches. Let's talk channel!
I write about SD-WAN, networking, cable, wireless and the agent channel. Other duties include moderating panels and emceeing keynote sessions at Channel Partners events. We merged the Channel Partners and Channel Futures websites in 2021.
Our group is bridging the generational gap in the IT/Telecom indirect channel. Formerly known as Channel Next, Channel NX2Z uses networking, education and mentorship to equip the next generation of technology professionals and create a symbiotic relationship between millennials, Gen X'ers and baby boomers.
I work as journalist for the IT/Telecom indirect sales channel. I interview and research industry leaders and write articles tailored for the niche audience. Topics include cloud computing, data storage, cybersecurity and unified communications. When I'm not developing online content for Channel Partners, I'm working with my colleagues to put on our twice-yearly trade shows. We gather our industry to our conferences for networking and education. I have helped plan and host education panels with industry experts.
After interning with Informa's Channel Partners magazine for nearly a year, I continued to generate content for the brand's website. I wrote news articles about business technology, following press releases and interviewing executives.
While studying at ASU, I interned for Channel Partners, Informa's trade publication for IT/telecommunication resellers and eventually moved from part-time to full-time.
Working out of the Cronkite School's Phoenix Bureau, I wrote digital stories about education in Arizona. School funding, state testing, Common Core, Diane Douglas, etc. I covered board meetings, rallies and kept close tabs on what advocates, politicians and experts had to say about the state's schools. I teamed up with broadcast students on stories, while taking pictures and developing infographics. It was a multimedia job that required active social media engagement and careful attention to analytics. Cronkite News is a professional program in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
