Hi, my name is João. I am a Data Science Intern and Undergraduate Researcher. I’m currently pursuing a degree in Information Systems at UFMG.
As Vice President of iJunior, I provided executive leadership with a special focus on the finance team. I held full ownership of the company's financial management, successfully architecting and implementing a complete restructuring of the 2025 financial plan. A key initiative was establishing a contingency fund to act as a financial anchor, ensuring stability during potential crises. Beyond finance, I mentored and trained the next generation of leaders, fostering a robust leadership mindset and transforming the company's financial culture. I also served as the company's legal representative in all judicial and extrajudicial matters. These efforts culminated in a successful financial turnaround, transitioning the company from a critical financial state to one of health and long-term sustainability.
As a member of the finance team, I contributed to the company's financial management and restructuring. I was also responsible for documenting processes, improving knowledge management, and working on the automation of internal procedures to increase efficiency.
