- Full ownership of assembly and composite manufacturing technology across multiple aerospace programs. - Successfully managing technological readiness and process stabilization during a critical 4x production ramp-up from 3 to 11 aircraft monthly for the B787 program. - Leading and developing a team of manufacturing engineers and technologists to meet stringent aerospace standards. - Driving continuous improvement, cycle time optimization (Takt Time), and structural problem-solving within the department.
- Ownership of industrial processes across production, quality, and logistics. - Driving process performance, stability, and continuous improvement. - Coordination between engineering, manufacturing, and management. - Identification of inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities. - Support of operational leadership in achieving performance and cost targets. - End-to-end ownership of APQP activities for aircraft door components. - Coordination of cross-functional teams (engineering, manufacturing, quality). - Risk management (FMEA), preventive actions, and quality planning. - Oversight of industrialization, cost estimation, and readiness for serial production. - Training teams on standards and process compliance in regulated aerospace environment. Role focused on translating engineering requirements into stable, cost-efficient production processes.
- End-to-end accountability for operations of a mid-sized business, including P&L ownership, daily operations, and team leadership. - Financial management, cash-flow control, cost optimization, and supplier negotiations. - Hiring, leadership, and development of staff; handling sensitive HR and disciplinary matters. - Operational optimization and crisis management during COVID-19, including introduction of delivery model and operational restructuring. - Seasonal peak turnover up to CZK 150,000 per day, with hundreds of customers served daily.
