Craft beer and brewing - the story of my life since 2005, when I homebrewed my first beer. I didn't like the taste of beer these times. Maybe cause I was 13 y.o. Maybe cause I didn't know the taste of real beer. I moved to Prague in 2008 and studied the brewing technology at high school. 2012 means first long-term practice at award winning local brewery called Antoš, graduating and establishing my first company, the contract brewing project Pivo Falkon. After couple months I got a big oportunity to be a part of Duvel Moorgat Co. as a product development specialist in family brewery Bernard, where I spent a year and half, trying to improve the product development and highly co-working with marketing affairs the same time. Next stop was co-projecting the new brewery called Tovarna, as a brewing director. My job contained product development, creating and executing the production schedules, marketing, trade directing etc. Now I am trying to get more into the customer experience sphere. I've built a craft beer bar in wider city center of Prague and with the World Beer Idol (co-owned), we are trying to help customers better understand and gain their bearings in the diverse range of beers produced around the world. WBI also gives breweries an effective marketing tool, as it is a confirmation of the quality of their products. Finally, World Beer Idol is our “modest mission” to call attention to beer as a cultural and social beverage with a rich history and highlight its diversity. What next?
