As a Regional Logistics Manager for Ecolab Cruise Supply Chain my responsibilities are: - Managing relationship with 3PLs in the regions of Europe, Latin America and Caribbeans. - Overseeing execution and performance of Logistics providers in Italy, UK, Spain, Denmark, Greece, Uruguay, Puerto Rico, Chile, Costa Rica and Barbados. - Building strong relationship with Ecolab Cruise Logistics, Customer Service, Sales, Planning and Export team in order to provide best service and support supply chain strategies. - Proactively monitoring and reporting delivery performance to customers ensuring service requirements are upheld. Escalating and providing contingency/recovery plans where appropriate. - Monitoring and managing Inventory health and accuracy including managing physical inventory cycle counting, batch management, scrap/disposal and forecasting costs back to supply chain finance. - Managing the deployment, efficiency and timely receipt of product supply shipments to and between the regional warehouses, including investigating supply issues, carrier delays / misses, and providing key metrics supporting KPI scorecard drumbeat reviews. - Leading or participating in cruise supply chain projects to improve the service, agility, efficiencies and profitability.
VIP is Supply Chain focused, cross-functional team with the main purpose of value improvement across the end-to-end product lifecycle. For almost 4 years I was a member of an international team focused on accelerating growth, delivering savings, driving business improvements and identifying losses. As a Project leader my responsibilities included: -Leading and coordinating identification and successful delivery of VIP projects. -Managing implementation of Supply Chain projects in terms of time, savings, cost and quality. -Creating Standard Operating Procedures in order to maintain new optimized Supply Chain processes. -Tracking project achievements vs targets and ensuring timely and accurate reporting of progress to all stakeholders. -Proactive developing and cultivating effective working relationships with stakeholders and business contacts. Most important projects during my time in the department were: Supply Chain Cyber Resilience, MOQ (minimum order quantity) optimization of raw and pack materials, Portfolio harmonization CALCULUS, Excess and Obsolete inventory reduction, CMI - Contract Manufacturing Insourcing, ASCENT - enhancing the capabilities to produce hand sanitizers products during COVID pandemic, COVID related SKUs planning and inventory tracker.
- Management/co-ordination of Excess and Obsolete (E&O) processes. - Member of E&O tool project team - application designed to optimize, automate and standardize Obsolete and Excess Stock Management across all European regions and functions. Rolling-out, designing, testing, enhancing. Main focus on the Warehousing and Planning functions and creating right visibility for all regions and stakeholders. - Warehouse Shelf Life and Total Shelf Life optimization initiatives. - Reporting on E&O across all European Regions. - Promoting and sharing E&O standards and best practices across all organization. Engaging E&O stakeholders to reduce E&O stock levels and inflow.
• Key role in successful transition of production planning from Budapest plant. Spend 7 months on extended business trip in Hungary learning, standardizing and improving work processes in order to enable planning from Warsaw PSC. • Daily production planning and scheduling on 8 production lines (up to 17 lines in period of absence of other planners). Overcoming constrains related to available capacity, material availability, plant stuffing, gaps in work processes and planning systems & tools. • Creating production and capacity plans for daily, short-term (12 weeks) and long term (18 months) horizon. Achieving team company award for great month-to-month business results on inventory and service (meeting customer requirements) and individual company award for improving service results despite highly overloaded production lines. • Constant co-operation with plant, junior and senior management, material planners, market representatives, business experts and other planning specialists in order to flag and resolve short and long term planning issues. • Testing and implementing new planning and scheduling software. • Achieving qualification of advanced planner. Teaching new-hires, supporting other planning teams and being first touch point for “how to” question and basic troubleshooting on issues related to supply chain planning systems, standards, work processes and technical issues. • Executing and managing from planning side several initiatives connected to new product implementation, promotions, product change or discontinuation related to both: raw materials and finish product. • For 4 months executing raw and pack material planning. Daily connects with suppliers, planning team and warehouse to support best production plan adjusted to our customers needs in the same time keeping low inventory levels. Planning materials for supplying 4 production plants located in Hungary, Germany, Ukraine and Turkey.
