• Rally Engineer – responsible for all technical aspects of the Vehicle's Performance, including Vehicle Setup, Engine Data Analysis, Fuel/Tyre management, crew communication, Pre & Post-event Scrutineering, and Vehicle servicing in JWRC, ERC, and WRC Championships with Rally3 and Rally4 cars. • Member of the Engineering team responsible for the design, testing, and development of the Ford Fiesta Rally3. Responsibilities included specification of base Vehicle Setups, producing Technical Reports as well as Engineering Analysis of Suspension components. • On-event and off-event customer support.
Member of the Suspension Design Team, responsible for all Vehicle Dynamics aspects of the project. • Suspension Kinematics: creating a kinematic set-up of the vehicle’s suspension. Analysis of roll behaviour, camber change in bump and roll, and the influence of kinematic roll centre location. • Virtual 4-post rig model: creating a virtual 4-post rig model within MSC Adams. The completed simulation contained a full model of the vehicle’s suspension, a vertical tyre stiffness model and virtual road input. Optimisation of vehicle spring rates and damping coefficients.
