About

I am a biomedical engineering student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison who is self-motivated, curious, and an effective communicator. Engineering has always captivated me for the simple reason that engineers find a problem then using their creativity and ingenuity, solve that problem. I am an ambitious, self motivated innovator and a collaborative team member. I am not afraid to go through the process to create a better design. I am an honest, straight forward communicator capable of both working with and leading a team. I am always looking for a challenge whether it be learning a new skill or wanting to tackle a problem. Early in my college career I learned how to use different tools such as CAD software, 3D printers, mills, lathes, laser cutters, and MIG/TIG welding machines allowing my ideas to leave the paper and become real. I believe this deeper understanding of the manufacturing process will be a strong base for other skills I will learn. I have a strong work ethic, which comes easily because I am passionate about the projects I work on. Designing solutions to problems already gives me a feeling of accomplishment, but I also get a sense of fulfillment since my hope is that my designs will improve or even save the lives of others. My ability to overcome complex situations using creative solutions will allow me to excel in this field. My eagerness to learn combined with the right opportunity will torpedo my abilities as an engineer. My life long goal is to leave a positive impact on the world whether it be through my designs or relationships. I am looking to enhance my knowledge through obtaining an internship, co-op, job or any other opportunity that will complement my biomedical engineering journey. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or offers.
