Before my MBA at the University of Cambridge, I directed the $45 million AI Alliance Fund, co-GP fund of SK Telecom, Hyundai Motor Company, and Hanwha Asset Management with Element AI, targeting to invest in Series A and B AI start-ups globally. I am interested in early-stage deep-tech start-ups and the VC ecosystem. After my MBA, I worked at Synergy Quantum SA, an early-stage post-quantum encryption start-up, as head of Business Development and Investor Relations in London, UK. Recently, I led strategy and overseas business in Defense at Nearthlab, a growth-stage autonomous drone solution provider in Korea, winning $50K-$10M sales contracts.
Black Korea Partners (BKP) is a strategic and financial advisory firm specializing in overseas business development and value creation for AI- and defense-driven deep tech startups. We support end-to-end global expansion, from market entry strategy to on-the-ground business development and sales execution across the Middle East, SEA, Mongolia, and other key regions. BKP also introduces Korean VC funds to global LP investors and supports international fundraising, delivering hands-on dealmaking and cross-border capital and business partnerships beyond simple introductions. In addition, we advise early stage startups on IR strategy, fundraising, data room preparation, financial structuring, and investment negotiations.
- Spearheaded and executed defense contracts ($100K - $10M) with major defense groups in the Middle East, as the principal dealmaker, owning origination, negotiations, and final contract execution.
