About

Architectural Technologist with experience delivering residential and small-scale development projects through the full design and construction lifecycle, from early feasibility and concept design through to technical delivery, construction and handover. My work spans RIBA Stages 1–6, with a strong focus on design for planning, where context, massing, proportion, and visual communication are key to securing successful approvals. I develop planning-focused drawing packages that combine design clarity with technical rigour, ensuring proposals are both visually compelling and compliant with policy and site constraints. I produce 3D models and detailed technical information using Revit and AutoCAD, supporting both design development and construction delivery. Alongside this, I prepare schedules of work, ensuring clear specification, coordination of scope, and consistency between design intent and construction delivery. Presentation and communication are a key part of my role. I use colour, diagrammatic drawing, illustrative plans, and AI-assisted visualisation tools to communicate design intent clearly to clients, planners, and stakeholders, helping to bring proposals to life during early design stages. I am actively involved in planning applications, Building Regulations submissions, and technical coordination throughout the design and construction phases, working closely with clients, consultants, and contractors to maintain design integrity and resolve technical issues as projects progress on site. In addition, I carry out site visits, measured surveys and inspections, ensuring that what is designed is practical, buildable, and aligned with real-world site conditions while maintaining design intent through to completion. I am particularly motivated by design-led technical roles where strong planning design, visual communication, and construction detailing come together to deliver well-resolved, buildable architecture.
