I co-founded Kalisten, an innovative workout tracking platform leveraging Web3 technologies, including NFTs and DeFi, to revolutionize fitness tracking. As CTO, I drove the company’s vision and technical execution. • Secured €150k+ in seed funding through two NFT mints, validating the platform’s potential. • Developed Kalisten Train2Earn, combining DeFi and fitness by rewarding users with blockchain-recorded tokens redeemable for perks or stable coins like USD. • Integrated with the Solana blockchain, overcoming frequent library updates and breaking changes. • Built and led a skilled team of developers and content creators, managing agile Scrum workflows with weekly sprints. • Designed and implemented the architecture for both frontend and backend, focusing on event-driven and serverless infrastructures. • Utilized a tech stack including React, Node, and Java, and AWS services like EventBridge, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, Cognito, S3, and CloudFront. Kalisten was the realization of a visionary idea, blending cutting-edge cloud and Web3 technologies to create an impactful fitness platform and securing funding to sustain a dedicated team for nearly a year.
