Study of text summarization using different approaches such as TFIDF, Latent Semantic Analysis, Embedding and Clustering, and Deep neural network. Evaluated the generated summaries using ROUGE, Cosine Similarity, and NER to understand how different techniques agree each other. This can be used as a starting point for further understanding these approaches and their use cases. Used transfer learning approach to utilize BART transformer as a starting point for abstractive summarization. Used deep learning frameworks such as Keras and Pytorch for implementing the algorithms.
