Lead a global team of marketers and agencies to drive customer engagement and advocacy across VMware's robust portfolio, representing $10B in annual revenue. Responsible for recruiting and nurturing hundreds of customer relationships to develop compelling stories, identify speakers for internal and external events and enable critical peer to peer and community connections.

Introduced a mature thought leadership program, supporting content plan and editorial council to keep POVs fresh and relevant in the market. Selected external PR partner and co-developed successful media plans, executive promotion strategies and mature crisis communication plans; responded to several public incidents, successfully mitigating reputational risk. Established an internal shared services creative design and copywriting function, overseeing more than 150 projects/qtr., while maintaining several overflow and specialized vendor relationships. Improved reach (+20%), share of voice (+5%), branded key word search (+25%), web conversions (+8%), social conversions (+40%), community of followers (+15%), blog production (+30%), unique page view improvement (+25%) in one year, despite budget cuts.
Accountable for the market strategy and growth of all Professional Service Portfolios representing 120M in revenue, including: Incident Response, Security Design & Architecture, Governance Risk & Compliance, Security Training Programs, Technical Testing, and Residency.
