• Assist 18 patients with activities of daily living (hygiene, nutrition, elimination, mobility, and safety) • Monitor vital signs every 4 – 8 hours and report abnormal findings to nursing staff • Perform 10 lead electrocardiograms, venipunctures, and glucometry • Respond to emergency situations, answer call lights, and participate in patient care rounds • Communicate effectively with nursing staff and directly assist with their procedures
• Perform preliminary physical tests; take blood pressure, weight and temperature for 25+ patients daily • Provide administrative and clinical support to an office of 2 doctors and 2 nurse practitioners • Schedule specialty appointments for patients and complete necessary referrals and prior authorizations • Efficiently manage patient throughput in order to decrease wait time and improve patient satisfaction
