Over the last 5 years I have developed the skills needed to pursue a career that makes a meaningful impact. ~Workflow Automation: Develop reproducible bioinformatics pipelines using Nextflow, Docker, and AWS; automate workflows, manage data and compute resources, and maintain environments with Conda. ~Genomic Analysis: Large-scale genomic data analysis including variant discovery and interpretation (GATK, MuTect), GWAS, BLAST, MSA, gene family analysis, and comparative genomics. ~Mathematical: Advanced mathematical abilities through completion of Calculus I–IV, Linear Algebra I–II, and Statistics I–II. ~Technical: Python & Bash scripting in Linux environments. Hardware & software troubleshooting & custom PC building.. ~Scientific Skills: Experimental design, research methodology, scientific writing and literature review, and hypothesis-driven data analysis. ~Statistical: RStudio for statistical analysis & data visualisation.
I had the pleasure of creating memorable dining experiences for guests, where I gained valuable experience working in a fast-paced environment. My responsibilities included customer engagement, beverage and food service, and section oversight.
