My role involved me supporting individual projects with their procurement needs to meet budgets, material requirements and timescales, whether this be sourcing rainscreen cladding materials, curtain walling products or glazing. My duties also included but were not limited to the following... - Liaise with supply chain and contribute to ongoing collaboration and communication. - Research and source new suppliers ensuring the best price and quality standard is maintained. - Project procurement is tracked, monitored and controlled. - Arrange and liaise with sites to ensure materials are delivered in a timely manner. - Dealing with non-conformances and ensuring any defects or missing items are dealt with and recorded. - To ensure robust audit trail. - Analyse and report supplier effectiveness throughout the projects. - Coordinating procurement requirements and weekly reporting with our design, estimating, construction and commercial departments. - Scheduling. - Managing deadlines and progress accross the team to ensure the project is delivered on time and on budget. - Collating purchase information, product technical and safety data, schedules and delivery programmes. - Obtain and compile all pdf for the O&M manuals throughout the duration of the project to support the final O&M manual upon completion of the project.
