Motivated and knowledgeable research scientist with 5+ years of extensive experience in processing volcanological materials, preparing samples for electron microprobe, mass spectrometry, and FTIR, and conducting geochemical characterization. I possess a proven track record of managing and maintaining various professional lab equipment and tools, completing lab reports, and effectively communicating results. I am a Boise State University Ph.D. Candidate with a deep passion for science and modeling data. Over the years, I have honed my research and observation skills and important time management abilities. As I transition from academia to the private sector, I am excited to bring my expertise in analyzing data for trends and patterns and interpreting data with a clear objective in mind. I love digging into data and devising algorithms and models to solve various problems, primarily in high-temperature geochemistry. I have the ability to perform data and error analysis to improve models, and clean and validate data for uniformity and accuracy. I am adept at meeting tight deadlines, both independently and as an adaptable team member, and can manage, evaluate, and communicate data to a wide variety of stakeholders. Leadership abilities gained through mentoring two undergraduate researchers and coordinating subduction zone scientific community-wide research events for hundreds of people. If you're looking for a driven and enthusiastic research scientist with exceptional data analysis and project management skills, then look no further. I am confident that I can be an asset to your organization and contribute to your success.
