A rotational program focused on exposing fellows to the field of international development. I conducted research and presented ideas towards improving gender equity and social inclusion in the workplace. I was also given the opportunity to travel to Zambia, Africa in order to see the implementation of DAI’s plans in person.
Worked with 5 Inspectors out in the field to ensure renters were adhering to the code of the building, Utilized technological skills by organizing and clearing old databases during the process of transferring to a new database , and Exercised and grew in communication skills by handling the service helpline for the Enforcement Division.
Developed knowledge of an Architectural and Civil Engineer through the codes of approving a building for construction. Nominated to represent the Department of Inspections at the Prince George’s County Executive Summer Youth Luncheon due to my exceptional work within the program
