I have over 30 years of experience in the Sport, Entertainment and Media industry, with a successful track record of raising capital, launching, growing, and transforming businesses across various sectors and markets thanks to the introduction of new technology. As a leader, entrepreneur and investor, I am passionate about creating value and impact through digital innovation (and today AI), mergers and acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Building a culture of high performance and strong cooperation, leading great teams of diverse talents, are my primary driver in business. I have successfully led and participated in multiple ventures, such as Media 365 (that I took public), Olympique de Marseille, and Project Liberty, that have shaped the media landscape, the sports industry, and the social impact network. I also share my expertise and insights as an Affiliate Professor of entrepreneurship at Sciences Po Paris, where I try to empower and inspire the next generation of entrepreneurs.
For the last 25 years, I have been very fortunate to witness how technology has radically changed the Media landscape: from the Internet to mobile technology, from social networks to blockchain technology. Today, our industry is faced with the mother of all seismic changes: AI will dramatically transform Media, Sport and Entertainment. It has already started to do so. In all of my current endeavors, I already see how most industry stakeholders are hard put to figure out a path and make the most of the such incredible technology. Most of them are scared, sometimes rightly so. Few embrace it with open arms. The challenges are indeed numerous: 1) How do you work with creatives and not against them? 2) How do you reduce production cycle times, save costs without compromising creativity and the power of story telling? 3) How do you protect intellectual property when GenAI is still, by and large, a black box seriously lacking transparency? With a diverse group of highly experienced cofounders, we decided to launch Cordoba AI. We are set on building Europe’s sovereign GenAI tech platform dedicated to the Media, Sport and Entertainment industry—delivering broadcast-ready content for production studios, broadcasters, franchise owners while ensuring full IP safety and compliance.
