The Global R&I Advanced Technology department at Danone aims to create breakthrough, ownable, and differentiated superior solutions/technologies for future products, processes, ingredients and packaging. As Senior R&I Director – Advanced Process & Pilot Plant Network (Global), my role is to define a compelling vision and strategy for Danone’s Technologies & Processes, with key stakeholders, fostering teamwork and empowering teams. Our ambition is to secure a competitive edge through patented processes, to maximize and to strengthen our global pilot network (incl. Digital, AI...) , by leveraging strategic partnerships and established/new external connections, by managing strategic technology choices, and ensuring the successful transfer of developed technologies to regional zones, across product categories: Fresh (Dairy, Plant), Waters, Specialized Nutrition. In my role, as Global R&D Enzymes Director, I am responsible for overseeing all R&D activities related to Kerry's Enzyme Technologies and additionally R&D activities for the Kerry's Brewing Ingredients Technology, within the global Applied Health & Nutrition (AH&N) business in Kerry Group. The global Kerry AH&N business presents a vast portfolio of advanced Technologies (Excipients, Cell Nutrition, Vinegar, Enzymes, Brewing Ingredients, Proteins, Proactive Health, Food Protection), innovative applications and consumer insight understanding for animal nutrition, human nutrition, food, biotech, fermentation & pharmaceutical markets. Kerry's enzyme business celebrates 50+ years.
