As a store Manager at Aldo, my role is to hire, train, and develop a team that delivers exceptional sales and service results. I am also responsible for all marketing and visual presentation strategy execution within my store. I supervise all aspects of inventory control including receiving, shipping, and loss prevention.
As a logistics team leader at Target, my job was to train and supervise a team that managed high volumes of excess merchandise in the store. We had to organize and log all merchandise with its quantity and location within the stockroom. I also managed a team responsible for updating and ensuring the accuracy of all inventory counts in the store on a daily basis. I would investigate all discrepancies and report my findings to my superior. Additionally, my team and I had to maintain visual sets as they were being phased out through the markdown process by rearranging and adding new product.
